Planning in Oakville, Burlington, Milton or Toronto?
More than
a place
to park.
Your driveway sets the tone for everything beyond it. The pattern of the stone, the line of a border and the connection to your front entrance all shape that first impression.
Milton Stone designs and installs interlocking paver driveways in Oakville, Burlington, Milton and the Greater Toronto Area. We combine thoughtful design with careful site preparation to create an arrival that belongs to your home.
From a compact frontage to a generous motor court, we consider appearance, everyday use and the construction beneath the surface. For suburban family homes, discuss daily parking, walking routes and the connection to your front entrance. Coordinate landscape lighting early so the approach works after dark as well as during the day.

Good design.
Solid foundations.
The finished paving is only part of the driveway. Our planning considers excavation, base preparation, grading, edge support and the transitions to surrounding surfaces.
For an integrated front landscape, our landscape design services bring the driveway, planting and entrance together.
01Site assessment & layout
+
We assess the existing surface, access, elevations and expected vehicle use. The layout is designed around parking, turning space and the relationship to your home.
02Excavation, base & grading
+
The installation scope addresses removal, appropriate base preparation and compaction. Surface levels and drainage are considered before the pavers are laid.
03Pavers, patterns & borders
+
Choose a material and pattern that suits the architecture and driveway use. Borders, soldier courses and carefully resolved cuts give the paving a deliberate finish.
04Steps, walkways & transitions
+
A driveway should connect naturally to the entrance. Interlocking walkways and stone steps extend the design, while a heated driveway system can be discussed where suitable.
05Repairs & existing surfaces
+
Broken pavers, uneven areas and tired borders do not always require a complete replacement. We assess the surface and base before recommending interlock repairs or rebuilding.

Before we begin.
01How much does an interlocking driveway cost?
+
Our planning guide lists $12,000–$18,000 for a 300–500 sq. ft. driveway, $22,000–$34,000 for 550–800 sq. ft., and $38,000–$70,000 for 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. Final pricing depends on site conditions, excavation, base requirements, pavers and detailing. Request a written estimate for your property.
02Can you combine asphalt with an interlocking border?
+
Yes. Our asphalt and interlock option combines a premium paver border with a new granular base and 3-inch compacted asphalt. Published guide ranges are $7,500–$10,500 for small projects, $12,000–$18,000 for medium projects and $20,000–$30,000+ for large projects. Removal, permits and drainage upgrades are not included in those asphalt package ranges.
03Can my existing interlocking driveway be repaired?
+
In some cases, yes. We assess settlement, broken pavers, edge movement and the condition of the base before recommending repairs, a lift and relay, or replacement. Reusing suitable existing pavers may be an option.
04What affects the performance of a paver driveway?
+
The complete installation matters: site preparation, an appropriate compacted base, grading, edge restraint, suitable pavers and joints. We assess the property and expected vehicle use when defining the installation scope.
05How do I care for an interlocking driveway?
+
Keep the surface clear of debris, clean spills promptly and check joints and edges periodically. Follow the selected paver manufacturer’s guidance for cleaning, de-icing and any sealing, and arrange an assessment if areas settle or move.
06Which areas do you serve?
+
Milton Stone provides interlocking driveway design, installation and repair services in Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Mississauga, Toronto and the surrounding Greater Toronto Area.
07Is there a workmanship warranty?
+
Applicable workmanship coverage is set out in your written agreement and Milton Stone’s warranty terms. New installations and repair-only work can have different coverage, so confirm the terms for your specific project. Read our warranty terms.
