Where the edge

Bespoke infinity pool design and construction in Toronto and the GTA
Milton Stone creates custom infinity pools for homes in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area. The vanishing edge draws the eye beyond the pool, creating a visual connection between the water and the surrounding landscape.
Every design begins with the property: its architecture, levels, views and the way the outdoor spaces will be used. From a wooded estate to a home with a long garden outlook, the aim is a pool that feels beautifully at ease in its setting.

WATER / LANDSCAPE / ARCHITECTURE
Quietly dramatic.
Precisely considered.
The vanishing edge.
An overflow edge creates the impression that the surface continues into the view beyond. Its position and proportions are designed around sightlines from the home, terrace and water.
The architecture.
Pool geometry, coping, stone terraces and nearby living spaces are composed together. The material palette reflects the character of the home while allowing the water to remain the focal point.
The complete system.
Behind the calm surface is a coordinated design for the overflow, catch basin and water circulation. Site conditions, structure, access and maintenance requirements inform the final solution.

THE ART OF ESTATE LIVING
A new perspective
on home.
An infinity pool can turn a distant view into part of everyday life. Morning light across the water, an evening on the terrace, the garden reflected in a still surface: the experience changes throughout the day.
We design beyond the pool itself, considering lounge areas, planting, lighting and the transition back to the house. The result is a complete outdoor setting with its own sense of calm.

A considered process.
Find the view.
We study the outlook, the architecture and the spaces you use most. The first concept establishes the pool position, the vanishing edge and its relationship to the surrounding estate.
Resolve the details.
Levels, ground conditions, drainage, structure and the overflow system are assessed as the design develops. Materials, finishes and any necessary specialist input are coordinated before construction.
Create the setting.
Construction brings the pool and landscape together. Terraces, lighting, planting and finishing details complete the design, with practical guidance for pool operation and seasonal care.
ROOTED IN OUR REGION
Designed for
Ontario estates.
Milton Stone provides infinity pool services in Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Mississauga, Toronto and the surrounding GTA. We design for the character of local properties, from traditional estates to contemporary residences.
A successful vanishing edge depends on the site and the intended view. We consider levels, trees, privacy and seasonal conditions before recommending a design for your property.
A FEW CONSIDERATIONS
Before we begin.
Is every property suitable for an infinity pool?
Suitability depends on the available space, levels, outlook, ground conditions and room for the overflow system. A sloping site can offer opportunities, but the right solution requires an individual assessment.
Where does the water go over the edge?
Water passing over the designed edge is collected in a catch basin and returned through the circulation system. The basin and associated equipment are planned as part of the complete pool design.
Can an infinity pool be part of a full estate landscape?
Yes. The pool can be designed alongside stone terraces, outdoor kitchens, cabanas, gardens and other outdoor living spaces. Planning these elements together helps create a coherent relationship between the home and landscape.
