What affects the cost of custom stone porches?
The existing porch condition, selected stone or paver, removal work, supporting structure, steps, edge details and access affect the scope. An overlay and a reconstruction are different projects. Published examples are planning guides; the quotation should identify the preparation, finish, related repairs and exclusions.
Can stone be installed over an existing concrete porch?
Possibly, but the existing concrete and the proposed assembly need assessment first. Review movement, damage, moisture, available height at the door and the resulting step geometry. Covering an unsuitable base does not resolve its condition. Coordinate front entrance design with the porch finish and adjoining walkway before deciding on an overlay.
