MILTON STONE / OUR VALUES
The MILTON STONE
Code of Honour
Our standards for the people representing MILTON STONE are as important as our standards for the finished work.
Welcoming a construction team onto your property is a personal decision. You should feel comfortable asking who will be there, who is responsible and how concerns will be addressed. Our Code of Honour sets out the values we expect of our team and the contractors we work with.
Honesty comes first
We expect truthful communication with clients, colleagues and partners. Questions, mistakes and changes must be brought forward, not concealed. Trust is earned through conduct throughout a project.
Careful selection. Shared values.
We take onboarding seriously and carefully select the people and contractors who represent MILTON STONE. Skill matters, and so do honesty, reliability and respect. We choose working relationships with people who share those values and take action when conduct breaches our standards.
Professional conduct on your property
We expect everyone representing MILTON STONE to arrive fit for work, remain free from impairment on-site, communicate respectfully and follow the site’s safety and access arrangements. Theft, dishonesty, harassment and threatening behaviour have no place in our culture.
Respect for your home and family
Your property is your home throughout construction. Our expectations include respecting personal belongings, using only authorized access, protecting access information and keeping work areas distinct from household activities. Children and pets must remain outside active construction areas; practical arrangements should be discussed with your project contact before work begins.
Clear responsibility
Before work starts, establish your project contact, the agreed work areas and access arrangements. Questions about who is attending, what work is planned or a change in scope should have a clear route to the responsible person. Written scope and approved changes help keep expectations aligned.
Concerns deserve attention
If something concerns you, tell your project contact or contact MILTON STONE directly. We take concerns about honesty, conduct and respect seriously, review what happened and act on breaches of our standards. Clients should not have to confront a crew member to have a concern heard.
Practical guidance for your project
Read what to agree before a construction crew arrives and how to clarify contractor supervision and accountability.
Experience shapes our expectations
More than three decades in the industry have reinforced the importance of choosing the right people and maintaining clear standards. Our family values shape how we approach our work and our relationships. MILTON STONE is led by Francesco Pettinelli — project leader & client relations specialist.
This code describes our expectations for conduct and accountability. Project scope, pricing, warranties and other contractual terms remain set out in your project agreement.
